Terms of Service

By using SongLyricsLab (“the Service”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

SongLyricsLab is a web application that turns short text ideas into structured song lyrics using an AI pipeline. We generate lyrics; we do not currently generate audio. Free-tier visitors receive a small credit allowance; paid plans grant additional credits via subscriptions or one-time packs.

• You must be 13 or older to use the Service.
• You are responsible for activity under your account, including keeping your sign-in credentials safe.
• One person per account. Don’t share your account with others.

You may not use the Service to generate or distribute:

• Illegal content (CSAM, defamation, IP-infringing material).
• Hate speech or content targeting protected groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
• Content meant to harass, defame, or impersonate a real individual.
• Sexually explicit content involving minors.
• Material designed to deceive (e.g. lyrics that pretend to be written by a specific named artist they didn’t write).

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.

• Your lyrics belong to you. You own the lyrics we generate from your inputs. You can use them commercially — self-publish, record, license, sell — without owing us royalties.
• Our software belongs to us. The Service code, UI, brand, and prompts are licensed to you for personal use, not transferred. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service or its outputs as a generic dataset.
• Derivative similarity disclaimer. AI models can occasionally produce text that resembles existing copyrighted work. You are responsible for reviewing your generated lyrics for unintended similarity before public release.

• Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. You can cancel any time from account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current period. Yearly plans are non-refundable except where required by law.
• One-time credit packs are non-refundable once purchased. Unused credits expire 365 days after purchase.
• We may correct accidental price or feature mis-statements before charging your card.
• Free-trial credits are not transferable, have no cash value, and may be revoked if abused.

The Service uses third-party AI models (DeepSeek via Evolink). Output quality varies, and the model may occasionally produce inaccurate, awkward, or generic lyrics. We do our best to mitigate this with structural guardrails and a revision pass, but we don’t guarantee any particular quality threshold. Always review lyrics before recording or publishing.

We aim for high uptime but the Service is provided “as-is”. We may schedule maintenance, change features, or pause the Service if a third-party dependency (AI provider, payment provider) fails. We’ll do our best to notify subscribers of major changes in advance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SongLyricsLab is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from settings. We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms or fail to pay. Sections about IP, credits (non-refund), and liability survive termination.

We may update these terms. If we change a material clause (price, refund policy, IP rights), we’ll notify signed-in users by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction whereSongLyricsLab is registered. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts there. (Specific jurisdiction will be named here once the company entity is finalized.)
