Privacy Policy

SongLyricsLab (“we”, “us”) operates https://songlyricslab.com, a free-to-try AI song lyrics generator. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.

• Account info (when you sign up): email address and, for Google sign-in, name and avatar URL.
• Anonymous identifier: a randomly-generated id stored in your browser’s localStorage so we can track free-trial credits before you create an account. No cross-site tracking.
• Lyric inputs and outputs: the idea you type and the lyrics our model generates. We persist them so you can return to them later.
• Optional feedback: 👍/👎 votes plus any text comment you submit on a generated lyric — used to improve the model.
• Usage logs: timestamps of generations, IP address (kept hashed), and basic browser metadata. Used for fraud prevention and analytics.
• Payment info: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card number; we only keep a Stripe customer id and your subscription status.

• To run the lyrics generator and save your work.
• To send transactional email (sign-in links, payment receipts). We use Resend for delivery.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
• To send your text inputs to DeepSeek V4 Pro via the Evolink gateway for lyric generation. Inputs are not used to train the underlying model. We do not share inputs with anyone else.
• To improve the product (aggregated stats, anonymized review).
• To detect abuse and enforce credit limits.

We only share data with vendors strictly required to operate the service:

• Cloudflare — hosting (Workers + R2 storage)
• Neon — database
• Stripe — payments
• Resend — transactional email
• Evolink + DeepSeek — AI text generation

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.

• Access & export: ask us for a copy of your data.
• Deletion: ask us to delete your account and associated lyrics. Email support@songlyricslab.com from your account email.
• Correction: update your name, email, etc. from account settings.
• Withdraw consent: cancel your subscription and stop using the service at any time.

We use only essential cookies (sign-in session, locale preference). We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

The service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us their data, contact us and we’ll remove it.

• Lyrics generated anonymously stay tied to your anonymous id until you sign up (we then transfer them to your account) or you ask us to delete them.
• Lyrics generated while signed in are kept until you delete them or close your account.
• Closed accounts are fully deleted within 30 days.
• Hashed IP / usage logs are kept for up to 90 days for fraud prevention.

Our infrastructure (Cloudflare, Neon US-East) is located in the United States. By using the service from outside the US, you consent to your data being processed there.

If we change this policy materially, we’ll update the “last updated” date at the top and, for signed-in users, send you a notice email.
